Search for "Temu coupon code" and you'll find hundreds of codes. Most of them are expired, only work for brand-new accounts, or never worked at all. This guide shows where real Temu discounts come from and how to tell a genuine offer from a scam.
Why we don't list codes: Temu codes change often and differ by country and account. We'd rather point you to the places where a code is guaranteed to be real than publish a list that may be wrong tomorrow.
Where real Temu discounts come from
| Source | What to expect | Trust level |
|---|---|---|
| Offers inside the Temu app or temu.com | New-user deals, sale prices and coupons shown on your own account | High |
| A friend's referral link or code | A discount or credit for new customers | High, if it comes from someone you know |
| Big coupon sites | Codes that may or may not still work | Medium, always test at checkout |
| Random social media posts, pop-ups or texts | "Free $100", spin-to-win, gift claims | Low, often scams |
How to use a Temu coupon code
- Add the items to your cart.
- Go to checkout and look for the coupon or promo code box.
- Enter the code and tap Apply.
- Check that the discount appears in the total before you pay.
If the code fails, it has usually expired, needs a minimum spend, or is only for new accounts.
Other ways to pay less on Temu
- Compare the final price. Look at the total with shipping, then compare it with Kmart, Amazon or AliExpress for the same item.
- Buy in one order. Grouping items can help you reach any free-shipping minimum.
- Check the seller, not just the price. A cheap item that breaks costs more in the end. See Is Temu legit? for what to watch out for.
- Use cashback. Some cashback apps and credit cards give money back on online shopping. Check their terms for Temu.
How to spot a fake Temu coupon
- It promises a huge amount, like "$100 free", for doing almost nothing.
- It asks you to log in, enter card details or download something from a link.
- It comes from an account or number you don't know.
- The link doesn't go to temu.com or the official app.
When in doubt, open the Temu app yourself and look for the offer there.
